Are most of you 25 or younger??? :wondering There were privateers that ran Suzuki’s from '82 - '84. Some were really cool. Some were built on Frank's and Nicholson frames. RM 250's and one RM 125 that ran the 200 class. They were one-offs, but that’s what made the racing in the early '80's so much better. Look through some old 3 Wheeling, Dirt Wheels, there was even a new paper that came out (got some buried in boxes) that showed the radical one-offs.

After quads, it just wasn't the same.....

i tell yah, some younger people must think that the sport of atving only started a few years ago, or atr least since they have been born. i have been into riding threewheelers since my first atc70 back in 1983. i have been reading dirtwheels, three wheeler, 3 and 4 wheel action, since they first came out. well just to prove to the younger generation that yes in fact, suzuki did have a racing three wheeler, heres the pic off 3ww.com. anyone know what size this thing is?

This was talked about several weeks ago. Suzuki did not have a race team. They were privateers. Eddie sanders was the most popular rider during that time. All one off machines as was mention above.

I FOUND THEM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Here are the photos, some are from 3 Wheeling, December '82 and from November '82, showing the Eddie Sanders Suzuki 250. He had Nick Nicholson build the frame, some 250R components, RM 250 tank, motor, radiators, 185 seat and fenders.

Some of you also wanted to see or had questions on the Husky proto type racers, I posted a photo in that post.

I said I would try and post these 6 months ago, I've been real busy at work

Custom one offs don't really count. Suzuki never made a production performance trike.

Both the Nicholson and Kasey's Ride rock!!!....I missed this thread a while back...Ive often thought to myself how cool an 86 RM250 three wheeler with that Blue Motor would look....Ive loved those Blue motor RM's from back then. Hmmmm maybe a build for me someday...I'll put that on the list

Those are some sweet pix. Man I wish I was born earlier, I was a baby when the trikes died :(. 1987, lol maybe its a omen! I bet trike raceing was a blast to watch, and fun to be in. But hell i still love trikes and grew up on them. 20yrs old as of today in fact (todays my b-day), with trikes older then I am! Then I sank all my money into my banshee, then they stop making them, man i got hosed!! that zuki wanna b is freakin sweet!

That is a pretty sweet trike. It would be fun to build on today bcs nobody has one on the trail. You would get some serious head turns pulling up on that thing.

I am almost 100% positive this is the first FI trike - and most likely still the only FI trike on the planet.
