I could be called a jerk here but I have to get something off my chest.
Guys, I realize that this forum is open, but I can't stand it when I read posts only to link to someone's business. For example, I was reading the post about sanding down a head. The last post was some guy trying to "casually" suggest that it's difficult and adds a link to his polishing business. It's not hard to polish aluminum. I'm a rookie and I will show you some mirror finishes. ( I paid $12 for a polishing wheel for my bench grinder and some polishing sticks.)
That's the second time today. These guys can post, but should have to PAY Billy, Howdy, etc for their advertisements. I don't want to read it.
Sorry, had to vent, but I thought this was a threewheeler board, not an advertisement. Make them pay to post.

I dont see what the big deal is either. Not everyone has the ability to do somethings and dont have the ability to located places that can do motor polishing, knob polishing or whatever. This board is a resource for everything and everyone. I just dont see what the problem is. Especially when its relevant.

But why say something is difficult, when he could simply ask for instructions, not someone to suggest its difficult and give his website addy for business.

Its all relevant. To some people it may be difficult. For example: I know it would be difficult for me to make 34.6 posts a day on this board. LOL. LMAO

most of the automotive message boards that i visit have sponsors and theya re the only ones that can advertise on that page. It is good and bad because the content is sensored to the point that you miss many new products. i say jsut call BS on the losers that lie, cheat, and steal.

Chris, If you run into these posts please report them to the moderators. They are allowed in one place only, and thats the classifieds, JUST LIKE EVERYBODY ELSE. They should not be in any other forums.

We try our best to be as vigilent as possible with these and other types of posts - however they will sometimes go unnoticed for a little while for whatever reason. Like Tim said, if you see something in question, please report it to a moderator so we can have a look at it.

You create a great early impression for a new board member. We've removed some posts. Please do not put us in a position where we have to remove more of them.

You see....this is exactly the problem I have with people such as this posting on the site. You can obviously see that this is not a reputable businessperson. He or she made a couple references to themselves wearing panties or something like that. Anyway, I did not respond to those posts, but since this is now a reoccurring problem, would anyone here do business with someone that has become this difficult? I wouldn't want this person to polish any knobs for me. I wish them the best of luck with their business, but I feel that if they had to pay to advertise, then they would be more appreciative of their audience.
