Ok, I was out riding today and I started smelling antifreeze, so I went home and sure enough its leaking. I didn't really have the time to try actually figure out what was wrong with it, but I did take some pics. I remember reading these things are known for water pump failures or leaks or something like that, but I really think its just a loose hose or maybe a pinhole it. If anybody has any suggestions let me know.
Here is where I think all the antifreeze is coming from, my guess is this hose is loose or has a hole ...

and is running down by the carb, not sure how well you can see it in this pic...

and making a nice little puddle right here...

I won't be able to actually mess with it until wednesday, so I'll post what I find out, but if you guys think I may have another problem based on what you see let me know what else to look for. Thanks

all the z's ive had at one time or another have leaked there, either the clamp did it or motor vibration, cut 1/4 off the end of the hose and you'll be back in business

I did the EXACT same as Orange shee, worked for me. Might be a bit off topic here, Im thinking about getting clear rad hoses so you can see the flow. Could be a very good idea if your impeller decides to take a poop on you.

I didn't know they made clear hoses:wondering That would be sweet but man I have a hard enough time keeping the black ones clean.

Would clear not be easier to keep clean? And it would definately be worth the money to get clear hoses. - nodz -

kloby you know that oklahoma red dirt is the hardest thing in the world to clean off. and let me rephrase that, if my hoses are black i don't have to clean them as often for them to still look halfa$$ clean, the clear just a little bit of dirt and you can tell they're filthy.
does anybody know if that temp warning light on a tri-z actually does anything or is it just there:lol:

I have clear hoses and when looking at it i can't tell that it flowing. It looks solid. It looks cool though when you have a wierd color coolant like orange. The clear hoses dont like to bend very well, had a hell of a time with mine.
