Hi guys... I just registered about two minutes ago and here I am posting my first "newbie" question. I recently purchased an '86 Honda atc 200x. This is the first 3 wheeler I have ever ridden since I took my friends atc 90 out for a spin when I was a kid. Man, i should have bought one (or two) of these a long time ago! What a blast. Ok, question: This trikes rear axle is slightly bent. It is bent on the right hand side close to the axles end. It isn't so noticeable while off road, but on pavement its really there. My questions are... Can this axle be pressed back into shape? Are any other ATC axles interchangeable with this type? Such as an 86 350x or a 250r, etc? If the axles themselves aren't interchangeable, how about the whole swingarm assembly off another bike? Sorry about all the questions guys, any help would be appreciated!! Glad I found this site, Steve.

I think your best route would be to just find another 200X axle.

First off, welcome to the board. :) I beleive the axles for the 350X would be the same. not 100% sure, but your better off getting a new/different one rather than trying to straighten your stocker.

You can only use the 200x axle. There are some machine shops that straighten them but you best bet is to buy a new one.
