If anyone could answer this it would be greatly appreciated.

This ATC I have, has an Electric Starter on it and it does work but it does not currently have a battery. ( I purchased it without the battery) I tested it with jumper cable and the starter work.

Question is does this thing use a normal sized motorcycle battery or is the batter bigger or smaller than a regular motorcycle battery.

Reason I am asking is I don't want to go to the Yamaha dealer and get raked over if I can just go to Walmart and get a standard motorcycle battery and it will fit.

If anyone knows I would appreciate it

Thanks

Measure the space you have for the battery----And take the tape measure to walmart--or Lawn and Garden supply---You should be able to match up something without shelling out Mega Bucks To A yammie dealership

Usually a motor cycle battery just slides right in place but the only difference is the positive and negative terminals might be different to hook up

Thanks for the response. I looked up the dimensions on a website that sells the specific battery. Guess I will take the tape measure to walmart.

The positive and ngative isn't going to matter in my case because the end of the cables are cut, so I will be replacing them or splicing in a longer wire anyway

Seems off top of my head it's a 14A2 or a 14AA2 Either case, look in the powersport/motorcycle index. I know the boxes at WalMart/Sam's Club of those Champian batteries listed the correct ones for my Yammies/Suzuki.

Thanks again for the replies. Just an update. I found the battery at Wally World (Walmart) for around $40 Did a little rewiring and rerouting of the wires that were there and the bike starts up prtty good now with the electric starter. 350xinNewYork I believe you are correct in those numbers it was something close to that.
