Well i checked my oil its full and seems good but its old like a year and a hlaf old. My dad said this isn't the reason the bike wont start is this true?? i gotta admit :TrikesOwn lol -Joe

I don't know about your problem, but if that oil is a year and a half old, you really need to change it. You shouldn't go more than 2 or so months without changing it if you ride it regularly.

The age of the oil has nothing to do with it not starting, but yes, its long overdue for an oil change if it has been ridden.

The oil cant keep it from starting if it is at the correct level.It doesnt matter if its been ridden or not the oil needs changed because of condensation inside the motor.That is why on cars it is recommended 3000 miles or 3 months.
Check the for gummy old gas residue in the carb bowl and see if the spark plug is wet,one of those is usually the reason for not starting after sitting a long time.
