View Full Version : The 250r Got it's New Fenders Installed Today

Well, finnally got the new Maier plastics installed... and they don't look to bad! Of course the color isn't an exact match to the fairing (see pic) but it's not too far off.
The shrouds are being painted at the moment, can't wait to get those on :D :naughty:
Also installed the old school footpegs, they're pretty neat!:beer

I was going to shoot the pics inside, but I thought, "Hey, the fairing is for like... ice racing" so I shot them in a more "natural" environment. lol
Thanks for the compliments guys. I think she's looking real good too. Going to order some number plates for the rear fender and stick a number on them and the fairing. Should look pretty sweet.
The footpegs put me back about $30, not too bad. I tried to install the "Fender Stops", but (like with alot of aftermarket parts) the holes were not lined up right :( . So I'll have to drill new holes for em'.
Also tried to put on the PRM skid plate, but found they sent an 83 instead of an 84... urrr.... Called the company and we'll be doing a little "swap" for the right one.
