Ok so I have this 1983 honda atc 125m which I'm guessing would make it a 1984. I only paid 200 for the trike and it runs great and is in mint conditin for as old as it is no broken plastics and minor rusting all it needed was some new rear tires... Anyhow the dude I bought it off off lost the key and I'm trying to find a used ignition switch with a key but I'm not sure which years and models are compatible to use in this application can someone help me with this I don't want this thing to grow legs if you know what I mean

If you have the original ignition switch then save yourself some time and money. Take it to a Honda Dealer and they can make you a key for it. The switch will have a number stamped on it that tells them what Key you need. The last one I had made cost me $17 or so. A used ingintion switch normally sells for Over $20 Plus shipping.

If you want to go with a different switch: The 84-85 125m Ingintion switches are the same ( no modifications needed ). But you can make other Honda switches work with some wire modifications.
