I just picked up a 87 YZ 250 2 stroke liquid cooled dirt bike

i am tryin to find out if any one has advice to do a conversion on this

Maybe triz forks or i could even go as far as to mix brands between triple trees and shox

Also i need ideas for swing arm and axle my bike came with after market swing arm on it and the stock as extra could i modd the swing arm to carry a quad axle or trike axle?

i have access to a good shop and ive worked on many things i just dotn have exsperiance in modds or conversion or much money to throw at it

Any advice or help would be great adn dont be afraid to let me know if its a stupid idea to start with a 87 yz for my conversion subject

If you look here on the forums you should be able to find a couple of people who have done/are doing a dirtbike conversion. As far as the YZ motor, I know alot of people use them as replacements for the YTZ motors in their Tri Z's.

Easier to just drop that motor in the Tri Z frame. It takes very few mods for it to work, and it will bolt right up.
