Which would be a better way to space your wheel?

ok now there is that way where I'm guessing you take off your hub, screw this onto the axel and then screw the hub on. Or get the good old fashioned wheel spacer like here http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4610832643


My question is which will hold up better to abuse and jumps? The axel extender or the wheel spacer?

I don't think either would hold up too long if you are jumping it. SX's aren't made for jumps, so I think that the bike would break before the spacers.

I would think the wheel spacers could take more abuse. just my opinion though

I used the first ones on my tecate and had no problems whatsoever. and my tecate has seen lots of air

I think Virgil had wheel spacers on his 250sx. He jumped it a lot and then had me fix it for him. I replaced most of his rear end. He bent the swing arm broke the axle slightly tweeked the frame. Bottom line is 250sx's are not for jumping. So I personally wouldn't put spacers on it unless your prepared to replace more parts down the road.

Same thing here, i sure as hell wouldnt use an SX every single day for jumping and that type of stuff. I like mine for mud-bogging and climbing dirt hills at local construction sites. I just need to be able to corner on the MX track so i can make howdy eat his words.:twisted:

I think I'll just buy the axel extenders since they're cheaper and I may be able to get there a day early so I can try the track without the +5" extenders and then with them to see which I like more.
