Wow b those look better than I expected. Good handy work. I have replacement nets you can have as soon as I find them. You wouldnt be getting rid of any 8in turf tamers by chance would you?

Those look great, and I'm sure the functionality of them will far exceed the looks. Does it make you feel like you have a "Safety Net"?

I think a lot of people have this assumption of nerf bars, I used to also. After one race I think I learned their real purpose and that is they help protect you a lot from other riders slamming into you. If you look closely at some of the pics you can see a lot of scratches and gouges from other quads ramming into me and me getting into them. The only time my feet were ever on these was when I was cruisin down the road stretched out.

I like that a whole better than my set up. I like the nets, but for now what I've got works, just need to have them powdercoated to match the wheels which are now black. I can't remember if the guy I bought if from said they were off a blaster or a banshee.

That looks friggin sweet, as with everything you do B.

On a side note...would you mind bringing your old set of riding boots with you to the summit county races, just in case they might fit me?

what kind of nerf are they, I have a 86/87 trx 250r nerf in my storage that it wouldn't kill me to cut up and modify to work.

those are form a raptor.i am not sure on the trx nerfs, but these fit well.i had to make that one adapter/shim,but it was fairly simple.good luck if you venture into cuttin on those trx nerfs!!!!!!
