Aftermarket head pipe with stock silencer

I was thinking about using an aftermarket pipe on my 250r with the stock silencer (too keep the noise down). Anyone else do this, if so did it run well? As for the head pipe it will most likely be an FMF.

I'm thinking of doing the same. I don't think you would get the best performance out of the pipe but you would probably see some improvement. Plus aftermarket pipes are nice and shiny

i went with the power core silencer with the fmf pipe and it really wasnt all that loud over the stock. the silencer isnt going to make that much of a difference in the perfromance its the pipe that is going to do it.
