I BOUGHT two ATC70's. I am trying to find parts for one of them #1. As I am looking they have all fierent build types or codes they talk about. I want to know what mine is what years etc, how do I find what years they are. I have one atc70 for sale needs front fender will take offers on it if anybody is interested thanks for the help

Here's some easy info on the years:

73-74:two rear fenders, sprocket, brake drum inside frame
78-81:three speed
82-84:four speed downshift pattern
85:four speed upshift

One is a 83 and one is a 84 just like I told you. The year is on the same tag that is located on all the hondas but on the 70's its located on the left side by the front end of the seat.

FOUND IT LOL Thanks for the help!! Is this number plate a rare item, reason I ask is should I try to clean it up real good and put on the 70 restoration when completed or is this just a bla bla. Does anybody have some good pics of a 100% stock clean one is supposed to look like?? Where is the best place to get parts?? Thanks alot. HEY STILL LOOKING FOR A 1987 BIG RED IF ANYBODY KNOWS WHERE THERE IS ONE.

I have not seen a # plate like that before. I have some parts 70's so I might be able to help on what you are looking for. What does it look like when it's on the forks?

the headling pictured is inbetween the forks and it goes up from there
