help ID my reeds and stuff pics inside 250R

i took my carb off to adjust the float of my new 86 250R

it looks like the reed cage has been ported ?? it alos looks like my cylinder may have been ported also. its my first time looking at this 2 stroke stuff so though i would post some pics and see if you guys could help me out a little

Your motor has been ported. It looks like a Wiseco piston. The cast pistons are dull and don't shine like that. Your cage may have been played with, but I would at least ditch the stock reeds. You can pick up a set of Boyessen fiber reeds pretty cheap.

Pretty cool. If you don't have it, put reeds in it, a K&N and a pipe and you should be ready to rip.

looks like a mild port job. swap out that stock reed cage for a Boyseen CR 250 reed cage (rad valve)and reeds.

Yes, those are stock reeds. Good time to upgrade them while its apart.
