will 250r front fender fit 250sx?!

I was wondering if a front fender for an atc250R would fit an '85 250sx .... I was looking at '85/'86 250r ones and they look like the same mounting pattern, but I want to be completely sure if I'm gonna puchase one.. thanks,

The front end on a 250 r is more narrow than the front end of a 250sx. I am sure you can make it fit,(I am one of those never say never guys) but not sure if the original holes will line up.

if you have a 83 to 85 front end it will bolt rite up. i did it to a couple ones i used to have. the maier fenders you have to drill the holes anyway so it would not matter.

They only made the SX from 85 to 87. I can't recall if they bolt onto the SX triples but they are much wider. If you upgrade to the 200X front end the 250R fender looks sweet especially in white on the SX.
