So, boys. Thats the 350X I just won off of eBay. My uncle will be bringing it up to me next weekend. I paid $500 for it, I'm giving my uncle $150 to bring it up to me, and I have a $1400 budget to fix it up. (Double my original $700 budget.. after much pleading to get my mom to let me use more money from my bank account)
The guy says that it comes with the stock exhaust and everything I need is right there, I just need a new axle and some minor parts to get it running. I'm planning on doing a full-tear down. Painting the frame, engine, and all of the components and and replacing whatever needs replaced, probably even new plastics.
Do you guys think I could have it looking good for $700?

I've always wanted a 350X, so my dream has now come true! And actually, the FUN part is going to be fixing it up :). I always get satisfaction out of fixing up a 3-wheeler. After the SX project, I was so happy with myself.. lol.

Let me know what to look out for on 350X's, and some tips would be great.

Let me hear what you think!
Ben

Looks like a good deal to me, for the price the "mint" ones are going for on Ebay, how could you have went wrong for the price. I'll bet you'll be driving everyone in your house nuts this week till you get it. LOL!!! I know I would be,
trust me a real three-wheeler person doesn't loose that feeling, no matter how many you pickup.

:beer looks good. you might be able to get a nos rear fender for that $1400 you got left over.

seroisly though.... I'd get the motor in tip top shape before I worried about it cosmetically. and with the price of these parts these days on ebay... well you know.

I don't have $1400 left over. That is my total budget. Right now I have about $700 left over to fix it up.
