What is the trick to get the rubber straps off of the housing.....I have a housing that is trash but it has good straps and I want to remove them without damaging the retainers......Thanks....

Try coating them and the area with wd40 then turn and pull them out...you can use a small flathead screwdriver to push some of it through.

theres a plastic clip that goes through the middle of it. Squeze it together and pull it out the manhandle the straps out.

Thanks for the replys......I was trying to pull them out but was afraid of breaking the locking clip.....I realized that the housing was trash :crazy: ....and cut them out so as not to ruin the clips or straps......:beer
