I am in the end-process of restoring a 1985 200X, all stock. I was wondering if anybody had some pics of carb vent lines and fuel line routing? Which place on the carb is for fuel? Also, I am missing the chain roller closest to the front sprocket. I think it mounts on the swingarm... Can somebody post a pic of that piece, so maybe I can fabricate one...Thanks,

The hole on the top of the carb is the one the gas line hooks up to. the vent is on the bottom of the carb. The gas line hole is bigger than the vent hole.
Give me a couple minutes to look up the chain slider pics I know I posted all these things on these boards a while ago.
Do you need the wheel that bolts to the frame or the J-shaped piece that mounts to the end of the swingarm?
maybe something on this thread can help. Or someelse for that matter.

ok if you look at the pic. the carb is upside down but that black hose would be your gas line. The vent is on the bowl. hope I helped. ;)

Thanks for the reply. The chain "roller" I lack is the J-shaped piece that mounts to the end of the swingarm. I have a welding machine and a torch, and I was thinking if I had a picture of the piece, I can likely fabricate a piece to work.
Also, admittedly, I am dumb when it comes to carburetors. I apparently have the fuel line hooked up to the right place, but I can't make any fuel go down into the carb. I can blow into the line (with it hooked up to the carb), and I'm met with 100% resistance. Nothing goes through, and I was just wondering if I'm going about this the wrong way.

Carbs can be very, very intimidating! Trust me when i tell ya.
Those J shaped chain sliders are long since discontinued from honda. your best bet would be ebay or put an add in the classifieds on the forum here. I dont have any other pics but if you use the search box up on the top of the page I'm sure you'll find what you need to know.
:welcome: to the boards.
Oh, I think your carb may need a good cleaning. Or your fuel line is blocked up. get your self a can of that carb dip at the auto store and giver her a good soak. Has it been sitting a long time?
