where to get some H-Traks

hi i was wondering where i could get some h-traks for my Tri-z...thanks

i have some 22x11x8 h-trak's with very good amount of tread left, no dryrotting... one of the tires has a plug but the other is perfect... I can also get you different sizes and brands, different tread patterns etc... all used but in great cond... ill give you good deals on em.. if you need any just let me know.. thanks

they don't make them anymore, they pop-up on ebay every once-in-awhile. check atv shops around you that have been in business around the 80's, they might have a set in the back. I have a set on Trike racing wheels almost like new, I got them for $150.

Every time I see a picture like that I pray to the trike Gods I will stumble across something like that someday!!!!

I could have had 8 of them, if I wasn't too camera happy. At the time, I didn't know they were 80% off. Some local MI goober came up and was like... "Hmmm... dem dare tire's special er sumptin?" I was like.. " Kinda... they are an old school flat track racing tire." Well, I then asked the manager about them, and she said they were 80% off. He started grabbing them... he got 4 and I got 4. He was going to see if he could fit him on his TRX90. :crazy: Here's your sign.... :TrikesOwn

They also had a NOS 83-84R front Dunlop tire too. I picked them up... we tried to fit them in my car, but had them shipped to NY for $15! Think that was the trip to Swinehart's when we made up the Tach/Speedo/Key dash for my 350X... the car was totally packed and I drove home through C eh N eh D eh!

I had to throw a set on my 82R at Trikefest last year due to my "dragin" the R at 65 miles per hour down I-70 south of Columbus. Anyhow... I put them on and rode it in the mud after the big rain... I was wheeling through stuff others were getting stuck in! Those H-Trac's can really bite in the mud. I'm sure they'd be fine.

The one's I got from MI are smaller, 8" rim R902's.... the one's I've gotten mounted are R903's...9" tires. If I sell them, it'd be the NOS 8"ers... they will be on ebay.... I'll let everyone know. I'm going to be clearing out some parts in the not so distant future.
