I was just thinking of some possible combos and was wondering if you heard if anyone had done this or seen any 350x's with the 400ex motor in it. Is it possible without modifiying the frame? THANKS

The 400 requires frame modifications. The 300EX/250X motors are almost drop-in though. A guy here, dropped a 300EX in his, and I didint even notice it or question it, until he fired it up with the electric start, and then started backing it up.
Id also disagree that a 350X motor has more power. Its what is wrapped around it that gives people that impression.

I read the 350 has around 23 h.p.
i read the 400 has around 27 h.p.
I also read the warrior has 17 h.p. ??? WTF!!!!
could this be right or is all my reading material being written by crackheads :?

I could care less about how much more power the 350 has over the 400. The 400 has a WAY bigger aftermarket, prices are cheeper for it, and it's a lot more common. The 350X motor was one of the best ever, and can be built to the mill, but they are getting few and far between. Any stock ones should try to be kept in good shape because they are going fast. If I had a nice 350X or one worth restoring I'd definatley restore it and keep it in a heated place for winter, and have a different machine to ride.

Actually the Honda 350X motor has 28hp. (listed in the '85 owners manual) while the 400EX motor has 27hp. (not listed in any "laywer proofed" manual - but tested by countless magazines). Warrior has 21hp (listed in the '87 manual).

I agree with what Wikedfinger, I have read and ridden both machines and this seems about right, but on the warrior I wouldn't be suprised if it only made 17 H.P. they are about the sickest running bikes around, they are reliable and fun, but just not real powerhouses or speed demons, but thats not what they were meant for either.
