.012-.016 is the point gap.

Alright.....on the 79 ATC....I have replaced the points and the condenser....I have tried bypassing the kill switch and I have cleaned the ground for the coil....still will not start.......it is not even trying.....what would be next.....Coil????.....Thanks

check the stator. Those things are famous for electrical glitches.

Check to make sure you have a good ground or make sure the ground wire hasn't broken in half.

How do I check the stator?? The only ground I see is up by the coil and it is good.....
