Ok, in these videos, you can kind of hear it clicking a lot. i just got the top end rebuilt and when it came back it was clicking like hell, they said it was nothing to worry about, and it was my chain (?) they are dumb so i took my trike out of there. anywho, listen and tell me what ya think:

for the first vid of the cdi box.. yes it is supposed to do that. just as long as theres a little tension on it from the springs holding it together. As it spins it spreads out and comes close to the magnet to make your spark. As for the tick you could try tighting up the cam chain a lil to do this just start it up,and on the left side case of the motor(if your sitting on it) theres a bolt with a small bolt in it. sometimes with a little rubber boot over it. just start it up and get it warm then at idle speed loosen it then tighten it and your done. but the motor sounded great! maybe a little high on the idle... but its wat ever

Hey bro i didn't hear any ticking. I agree, great sounding motor. Did you kill the motor or did it just die? Sounded a BIT like a fuel problem i had. Inconsistent things i duno your carb is in check right?

I Tried (finally!) to adjust the timing chain, and it did absoultly nothing. any other ideas? its a massive ticking, almost like a car does when you start/run it without oil. but its a lot louder
