Brandon, My Friend at the Garage ordered my axle. Durablue X-33 with the Cast Hubs. +4 It was only $370. Let me know if you are gonna get one, I will ask him if he can order you up one. That doesn't include shipping, but that is the best price I have found so far for THAT specific axle.

Glad to hear everybody is ok. Bummer on the Axle. Hey, CRAP Happens. Hey Charlie, did you go home and put some ice on it? .........YOUR EGO that is!!!! LMAO!!!

im still wondering why he was going down a hill backwards fast....from a hill climb. did he even try to hit both brake at the same time? or try to stop it, sounds like he was like whEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE down the hill then BOOM, ahaha good thing he wasent hurt, must of hit hard.

It even hurts to look at it, poor trike.

01-22-2006, 07:16 PM
Yeah I feel really bad about doin that. I told Brandon that I'm too dumb and his bike is too wide. I guess i didnt adjust well to his 350x. I had be climbin all day on my raptor with +3 swinger and maxxis sur traks without any problems. Then i screw up on the easiest hill back there. Trust me I feel really bad and his new axle IS covered.

3leggeddog
01-22-2006, 08:13 PM
well the problem is he went from a 55 hp raptor,to my 20 hp 350,lol.

no biggie though,i ride the raptor enough that eventually i WILL break something on it,lol.not that i want to,but thats just the way it goes sometimes.

it's not that charlie is an unskilled rider,it was just muddy and the trike slide backwords,40 feet, and met a very big tree st the bottom.:Bounce

hey chuck,you sore yet?

200xcellent
01-22-2006, 09:29 PM
No I'm not sore. That big mud hole at the bottom cushioned my body toss.

Yeah, I think +3 on each side. Hey Max, if brandon doesnt have an axle by this weekend for the ride at your place i told him he could take the raptor. I'm just bummed it wasnt my bike  , hopefully he orders one tomorrow. If he gets an axle and i dont go snowmobiling in Michigan then i will be there.

thats what i was thinkin craig.i went through a bunch of old post, and threads from the last few years, and this one was one of my favorite carnage threads.i also want to bring up some of the old ridin vids, like the widow maker save, the wall, just some old threads that new members may not have seen, and that those of us who have seen em,can laugh and reminise!

12-03-2006, 11:48 AM
Wow man...this is the first forum i'v ever seen that someone gave a part to someone, Most of the time people want to charge you as much as possible. That was nice of Bruce. Did you ever make use of that axle?

3leggeddog
12-03-2006, 01:42 PM
nah,me and bruce never got together on it.i bought a +4 durablue from dennis kirk for it.it held up great for a year of me beatin on it.

yeah that poor quad took a good tmble.i started to run after it,but whe was movin a little too fast.that dude needs to learn to slow down before bailin.he just jumps off as soon as he thinks he won't make it,then tumble...tumble!

Yeah I feel really bad about doin that. I told Brandon that I'm too dumb and his bike is too wide.

Good to know no one was hurt. Some thing like this could of been ALOT worst then just a bent axal.

But i have to ask, any video of you driving it back to the truck. I die to see it. I bet it was funny as heck to see.
