I put a new steel and fiber plate with new springs clutch in my 200x. I have only putted around my driveway but I notice that it is real strong and when I let it out slowly it chugs forward like a truck when you ride the clutch. Its not take off smooth like my burnt out clutch was. This grabing is normal? Once it is in gear the bikes works fine, my gears shift real thick and true. My old clutch let out like butter, it also slipped. Will my clutch break in and smooth out? The tugging and chugging is not real bad but its there, not real jerkish at all I also have a different kinda of motoroil in it. hd 30W SAE Penzoil. Could it be my oil thats doing that?

those fibre plates need to seat to the steel, so id imagine everything will work it self in and youll be roostin in no time

I sure hope so. I took the bike out today and rode light for an hour. The bike really runs nice. I went through the gears and it held with no slip.

Did you soak the fiber disk in oil before installation? If you didn't, this is your problem.

I soaked the disks in oil very well before I put them in. Will my clutch be ok?

I would ride it around a little more and see if it gets better or worse. If it starts getting worse then you may want to tear back into and inspect it.

how did the hub and clutch basket look? was there a bunch of wear groves in them from the old friction and steels? This will cause the bike to want to creep with the clutch pulled in. Also you need to make sure you use a motorcyle engine oil. regular automotive oil does not have the proper additives for a wet style clutch.

Where would I be able to find motorcycle oil for my 200x?

The fibers need to "seat" but also your oil may be a problem. Sounds like you are not ridng it long enough to get it up to temp, but the manual recommends a multigrade oil so that you dont have to wait for the oil to get warm to acheive proper viscosity.
