Well almost... I'm still debating using the tank cover Tecate4life sold me or just installing the new tank decals I have.
This was a tough project, parts were hard to find and I did a bunch of searching and waiting. but I had fun doing it. The coolest parts were finding the Klemm reaserch pipe and silencer and a old plus 2 Franks swingarm. I can't wait to take it out to the beach and see how the suspention works, I stiffened it up with White brothers springs and a revalved shock and a heavier spring in the rear.
Thanks to the people that helped and sold me parts and for advice given along the way. This board was a big help. :beer

It really doesn't get any better than that. The pictures make a great screen saver too. Something new to look at for a few months. Great work again, Dave. What next? Maybe the Tri-Z?

Very nice and well done KXT. The seat is kind of interesting, how it goes that far up on the tank. I guess thats because its the Baja version?

Blazer- The fenders looks like glass...it looks like you put some serious elbow grease in em'. Use the tank cover to protect the tank, put the decals on! Nice job on the KXT, I like the Hi-Flite Desert seat also. Nice job!

Wow,

:) That has to be one of the nicest on the site, attention to detail is excellent! You could eat off that engine, and damn near every other part. That is sooooooooooo nice.:)

Looks great!!:beer :beer Now all I need to do is go out and work on mine some more. I swear it is becoming a never ending battle with mine. I can't decide if I want to use my extended swing arm, what froks to use, what pipe to use, just a bunch of stupid craap. Oh and what is that chain guide off of? Looks like a good addition that I need to do.

Nice job for sure but I must ask what was Kawasaki thinking? I mean I understand the reasoning for the headlight by why the "Big red" type front fender. Kills the sporty look of it IMO.

;) I understand. Some people cant understand why someone would put performance parts on a utility. It takes a "unique" person to understand. And I like the quote in your signature. Sums it up well.

Are you talking about the case saver-guard. I think mines off a KX.

Thanks again guys for the complements, I think it came out pretty good, I'm looking to build a big bore motor for it this summer before the ORG ride in Florence, we'll see how that goes.

I am looking at the polished/chrome one on the left hand side of your swinger. Just about straight down from the silencer. I got that 85 tecate off of 250rsteve and I am thinking of going with the sprock racing 330 kit if I can bring myself to spen the coin on it. Good news is that the tecate has an aftermarket pipe and a extended axle on it. Rest of it trashed though. Someone painted it CAMO:crazy: don't know what the heck they were thinking.

cool deal, It really needed one from the factory I think. I may just have to do that to my factory swinger. Oh, do you want to sell your green maier low pros?

This picture reminds me of my 1981 KD80 that I got when I was about 10. I still have it but it is really trashed and doesn't run. Man I loved that ole KD80

Looks like its snowing... Hopefully everyone stayed home today. lol I tried to take a decent pic of your frame... No chance... You might have to run it over to SRWToads and have him shoot a couple pics with his camera. he can get the filtering right. I suck at it... How do your Housemates feel about you having Oregon Duck colors on your bike? lol since its a OSU Beaver household???
