is this a dg cool head for the aircooled 250r... the head has no markings so all i have are the measurments. there is a pick with a tape measurement if any one knows the head size for the 250r it would be great

you are so totally right Blazer. I looked at it and saw the same basic design as the DG head for the 250R's. didnt even look at how many stud holes there were. stuck my foot in my nouth on that one.

He probally hit the $250.00 BIN on it as soon as you posted also. lol There 2 types of DG heads out there for the air R. I have the one that fits the 81-82, I think I had to do a little grinding to make it clear my exhaust on my 84, but it will work.

sorry blazerone that had a $90.00 buy it now and i didnt buy it some other sap did sure hope he had a 125 to put it on haha... i was just wondering anyway im not really convinced of the advantage that head has over a stock one and even if it were a night and day difference i aint paying $250.00 for a $100 product no matter how vintage it is.

i seen a 82 atc250r motor on ebay with one yesterday with a gold dg head that was only up to $30. it looked real nice. i don't know the number.

if you search under 82 250r motor you should find it.
