I've been searching for this darn toolbox for a 83-84 250r since I've been into trikes. I did'nt even know it was metal, I hope I still have the top mounting clips, I found this one on ebay a month ago and it finally shown up today. pretty cool late Xmas present. Does anyone else have one on their aircooleds?

I bought one off of Ebay a few months back, someone had just listed it. BIN $9.99. I looked for a long time for one, every one I saw on Ebay they would get bid up to around $50.00. I just couldn't spend that much on the tool box.

Ask Orangecity, I bet he has a complete decal set for the aircooled there somewhere in his vast fortune of OEM goodies...:beer I'm pretty sure the prolink decals were the same color scheme.

Looks like I need to dust up there also.

Heres a pic of the Factory Aircooled, its kind of the Jan Brady of the R's, One of these days I would'nt mind doing a poormans OEM restore on one. Its darn near my favorite bike.

I think the '83-84 R's are the sexiest R's ever made. But thats just my opinion.

what do you mean its kind of the jan brady of the R's? for as revolutionary as it was i believe it looks better than the 85-6 R's (its just me I think) the few styling ques that I cant stand are the gold rims, cant stand them on any 3wheeler of any year, they are the tackiest thing ever. chromed aluminum all the way. the headlight that looks like an after thought and the ridiculous factory handle bars. should have put cr bars on it.
