I had my factory swinger extended last week and while I was at it, I had a rear chain guide added. This one is off a banshee. Cheap insurance for case protection!

Yamaha has been using these for years and they WORK! I've never thrown a chain on the Z, even with terrible swingarm bearings, stretched chain, etc. On the other hand, every Honda i've known has thrown the chain on occasion. I figure, before it happens to mine, i'll try to prevent it!

Ummm dude. Please tell me that is a mirror image or sooemthing because if it isn't it looks like you put that slider on the wrong side of the arm.

EDIT: Ok I just looked at the picture again, it is a mirror. Whew. Almost scared for you there. lol. Good idea.

The pro-link sticker is backwards so I guess it is a mirror image.. Great idea. I know those old Suzuki lt230s quadsports could use one of those. Those are notorious for throwing there chains and wrecking the magneto cover.

that sure doenst look right to me, are you putting the chain on the other side? the carrrier appears to be in backwards, and the guide seems to be on the wrong side

They call that a reverse negative.

Yeah, you're right Holmstrom, if you meant attached as in a tow rope!

Yes the image is reversed somehow. I'm not sure how that happened.
