Very Odd Problem??

Ok today i actually sat down and went threw my manual and started oding stuff step by step and i noticed before i started that my decompression level was fine or properly "when pushed stright up it would stick" Correct?? But then later on in the day i put everything all back on and i noticed when i pushed the decompression lever up it didnt do anything it was as if the thing was broken then i started to panic and swear thinking i broke something.. but about 10 minutes later i dont know what i did but it was holding the lever up again. WTF?:confused: :naughty: odd or is this common?:naughty:

That’s why there is an edit button ( I am a bad speller too).;)

This is normal. The decompression lever jus opens the exhaust valve a little for when you first start to pull it. If the engine happened to stop where the engine would normally have the exhaust valve open then the lever has nothing to press on.
