I, finally, decided to make myself a trailer hitch for the beast, today. All it took was two *Edited*-bolts and a piece of 1/4 inch plate. The pictures are pretty self-explanatory, but I have to mention a couple of things. I made sure the metal plate extended over the struts on the swingarm a little bit, so the whole thing wouldn't rotate when upward pressure is on the 'hole' end of the plate. This is also designed to be used with a 2-wheel cart that is heavy in the back, so that the tongue pressure is upward. This hitch is not designed for any downward pressure. That issue would need to be addressed if anyone was to adapt this design for a ball type hitch, which would be easy enough. I just made it to work with my little yard cart I used with my riding lawnmower, because those cross-country trips to the woods for firewood were hell on my mower! I tried it out with some weight, and it works like a dream. Enjoy!
