While we are on the swapping kick, will a 125 bolt into a 110 frame. Is there any modifications that need to be done?

My grandpa has a 110 that he rides alot. It is very hard for him to pull start it now. He wants an electric start. My thought is to transplant a 125 into it.. The 110 motor is getting weak anywhays.

Also, it looks like I will be receiving a 110 aftermarket frame soon. I am curious if the 125 would work in that as well. Are there any decent mods for the 125?

Thanks for taking the time to read and reply.......

The 125 will bolt right into the 110 frame, as will any other Honda engine from 70 to 125 cc's. I did the same thing to a Honda Trail 90, stuffed a 125 into it. :D

Oddy, The only thing with the swap is you will have to watch out for the mount that holds the head onto the engine. I think the 90 head stay has 2 bolts in it, and the 110 stay has 1 bolt in it. When I put a 110 in an aftermarket frame, I had to put on an atc90 2 bolt stay because that is what the frame was set up for.
