What Year?

Howdt All, I just purchased a Honda 200X and the plate with the year on it was removed. HOw can I tell what year the 3 Wheeler is? :wondering

Post the VIN # on here, we can figure it out from there.

:welcome: post a pic and you'll find out in about 2 seconds... :lol: if the seat is blue it's an 85,6, or 7. if the seat is black most likly an 83 or 4. Also does it have 5 or 6 gears?. 5 being the 83-85. ;) Also if it has a tubular swingarm most likely its an 83, or 4. if it has a square tubed frame its an 86, or 7. I can go on forever about all the diffrences.

I will try and get a picture put on tomorrow. The frame is round tubular which tells me it is 83-85 , I don't know if the plastic is original but the seat is blue. The plate with the vin# was removed for some reason:crazy: .

the Vin number is also stamped onto the frame, check the steering stem, see if its stamped on there.

OK, It was difficult to read the Vin# because of being repainted, but I think I have it. JH3TB0523EK302415

Yep... the E in the vin would make it a 1984
