ok... so my bike i got home about a week ago.. i changed the fork seals and oil, as it was needed... so today i fired her up... and went around the block.. well the first trip around she was warming up (hadnt been ridden since NOV. 26) well about the 2nd trip around the block she felt warm so i started to gas it... taken the wheel off the ground and setting it back down.. making sure the forks cycled through and all... then i look behind me and theres A CLOUD of blue smoke just coming out of my tail pipe... and i start to notice a fat running condition.. like its just hit the choke... well nothing had happend the chock hadnt been hittin down.. and it ran like it was fat for the rest of the 2nd trip... Now could have my gas and oil seperated? could some how the engine be suckind down a richer mixture then the 32:1? just wondering... also i know i need a new air filter.. thats soon on the way as i ran through the washes at glamis cause i was runnign out of gas and needed to hit the beach store pump and it was DUSTY AS HELL!!! so i know the filter is clogged.. plus its like 5 years old... but anyways what yah guys think?

Run a new filter and fresh gas, clean the carb. Get back to us after that.
Maby you just need to Jet it, ya know new bike, first run ect...never seen it run before...

One vote for junk from the gas tank in the float needle. Other possibility is a blown right side crank seal, but id check the carb first.

anything clogged would make it leaner....i would guess you didnt clean it out good enough, or you just forgot how much it smoked, or you blew the head gasket....does it smell funky?

Gas evaporates, oil doesn't. Depending on how long mixed gas sits, it will get richer. Very common in the float bowl of your carb. The gas will be gone from there leaving nothing but oil so the first few minutes you run it after being stored for a while, it's gonna smoke pretty good.

Funky smell would mean antifreeze...on a liquid cooled bike...lol. Sounds like you need to get some fresh fuel.
Geek, how do you know just what side exactly blew out? lol Like how would you narrow it down to one particular side in general. Seems kinda "I know everything" to say its that.

because the right side is the tranny side where the oil is. sucking trany oil through the seal into the chamber. left side is the side where the pull start and such is . no oil in there.

foot in mouth, nevermind.
Might want to check out the plug as well. Make sure the bike is good and warmed up, colder weather makes the bike run rich during warm up and may take a little longer to get to operating temperature.
