Will a ytm200EK start in gear?

Yeah pull it behind a truck or something and pop it in gear. "My" 300ex wouldnt start with the electric starter, so we pulled it and I popped it in 2nd and Vrrrrooommm. Sucker started right up.

Edit: Just read the other post. I used to have a 225dx but I cant remember for the life of me if it will start in gear.

Yes, it starts in gear with the pull starter, but when it gear, it disables the electric start.

lol my electric start we canceled out its stricky pull start now so i will lean on seat and pull it behind a car?

it will work if you have spark (on the right time) compression, and gas.
If your rings for example are shot, it will not magically make it run.

lol i understand you but i still dont understand this pop noice i heard a will back i dont think it was a backfire.... BACKFIRES LOL i have gotten alot of them lately like today 3 in a row! lol im doing good will it start going down a hill if it backfires?
