well, i finally picked up my new project....its an 86' and the top end is completely toasted along with the crank, its going to get shaved oem fenders ,new drag bars, long rod crank rebuild, cr250 top end with powervalve block offs fully drag ported, 40.5mm carb, cr250 intake, vforce3 reeds, RPM chromoly drag axle, new seat foam, +8 tubular swinger, 4-snow rear tires, no airbox, shorttrack kit, no front brakes, motoplat ignition, buff front tire, lowering link..... :naughty: im excited.

im doing all of the maching and rebuilding at school. and then im dynoing it on our dyno :w00t:

i only paid 500$ for it, not a complete steal, but still a good deal...with a billet carrier, and a nice skid plate....

In my opinion you got a good deal with the shorttrack kit, the tires and the carb, It looks like it shouldnt be that hard to fix either,how did he toast the top end, topped it out and kept giving it full gas?

i picked it up in parishville technically, but he had a potsdam phone number, so it was basically in potsdam, and it didnt come with the shorttrack kit, i have one...im gonna build it to run on c14+ which is 115 octane, so its gonna be crazy high compression... i decided not to run on alky because i dont think i will need it, if i need that few extra horsies i will do it, but probly not until the middle of the race season...it didnt come with any of the stuff i listed, thats what im doing to it...i am soo psyched!!!!!
