Can anyone tell me the ear of my tri moto?

Ok, as no dealers are open on mondays around here I am needing some help with the year / model of this trike. So if anyone can tell me what year and model this is from the vin # please help me out. Engine vin is 21y-070497, Frame vin is jy321>(possibly L)y000fc070427. Thanks

1984 YTM200L Chain drive. Oops... me bad... thought you said 21V.... not sure about 21Y

as far as I know--Engine and frame #'s should match -,unless something was changed----its possible your engine is from a different vehicle altogether-(Sled-dirtbike-etc)---

Ok so the ytm200 is a 2 stroke? always thought they were fours. This thing is really turning into a cobbled up mumbo-jumbo of years and parts. The engine came up as a ytm200l correct? As the frame says 1985 somethin on the tag, actually id doesn't mention the model on it. Ok more questions, this has a 125 jug on it do you know if the stroke is the same? Oh, what have I gotten myself into this time?

the 200 is four, from what i have seen just sounds like you have a YT125 with 175 plastics...unless you can get some pics it will make it much easier.

they would match if its the motor is the original motor. One of mine has different numbers because i used the frame from one yt125 and the motor from another . i dont believe a 125 jug would fit on a 200.

Initial engine Number / Frame Number: 5V6-000101 / 5V6-000101

1983- No data

1982 YT175J
Initial engine Number / Frame Number: 5V7-000101 / 5V7-000101

1983 YT175K
Initial engine Number / Frame Number: 20E-000101 / 20E-000101

Going with your Vin / motor number I would say you have a 1984-85.
