I just picked up a 200e smokes like heck! Air cleaners clean and fires right up. where should I start?

Me too or valve guides. I need to do a compresion test. it fires up the second you hit the starter though.

yeah, my freinds 185 was the same way, half a pull and it started right up, but it smoked like forest fire, we replaced the rings, and seals, and its fine

my 83 200e smoke like crazy... ended up havin a cracked cylinder/bad rings/bad pistion/needed new head.....and it started right up everytime and ran like a champ concidering how messed up it was... i got the parts and she ran beutiful...until i cracked the case.....pay attention to trailprotrailpro chain tensor

i'm gonna order up a set up rings for my 200x beater + and see if that clears the air so to speak. hopefully they are in stock (righttt),,, i'd like to get started on it tonight.
