fiberglass fender clean up?

I got a fibergalss fender for a 90. I was wonder what is the best way to clean it up. It is not cracked or any thing just needs cleaned & mabey some paint. Any ideas will help thanks.

Sand it down, and paint, any cracks+chips can be filled in with fiberglass bodyfiller/resin/matt can be had at the local automotive store, then paint!
