Is there any way to find out what the pink slips look like ?

Well.... my Showgirl had the Honda certificate of origin with it when I bought it. The DMV took it though when I licensed it. I did have them make me a copy of it first though. Now my registration is it's "pink slip" of ownership.

Pink slip = California vehicle title

I see you are in California. Have you never owned a vehicle before? Anybod who owns a car can show you one.
