This is my latest 350X project. This is an 85 with 86 fenders. Blue powder coated frame, chromed pegs, kickstart, brake guard, headlight guard, and the rear dura blue axle has also been chromed. It has a brand new 86 350X motor and a DG pipe and K&N filter. Everthing on the bike was either refinished or replaced.

Nice job. Are those 18" trekkers? The look really small on a 350X. I like the blue frame. My bike should end up a lot like yours except everything you have blue will be red on mine. Will it be a riding machine?

XDAD2- X-cellent job on the X!! Hey what else you got there in the garage? Judging by the detailed work you did on the X, I'll guess...
cherried-out '65 Mustang. (not much to go by in pic)

Again, nice work!

The bike is finished and has been taken to Pismo Dunes, CA on several occasions. I fixed this one up for my son who can ride a wheelie as far as the eye can see (almost). The headlight which is not in the picture was also painted with a white that is made especially for plastic and protected with a chrome headlight guard. I have also done one for his best friend but it is basically stock. I also installed a brand new 86 engine, DG pipe, and K&N filter. Other than the pipe and filter I also added the chrome brake and headlight guard. The third bike which is the one I ride is exactly like the second one other than it still has the stock 85 motor. It has the DG pipe and K&N filter as well as the chrome headlight and brake guards. I have a brand new motor for it as well as many new and aftermarket parts as this will be my next project. To answer a few questions yes those are 18" Trackers and I have matching paddles for all three bikes. I also have several sets of ITPs for the other bikes. The small tires added a nice look for the picture. That is a 67 Mustang in the picture and it's as nice as the bike. I will be adding more pictures soon. Thanks for the compliments though I can't take all the credit. My son did a lot of the work I just financed it.
XDAD still riding at 47 years old and loving it just as much now as when I was 17

Who did your chroming?I've been looking around for someone to do some of my parts in the near future.

A guy in Visalia, CA did the chrome but I do not reccomend him. He is a pain in the ass and and losses about half of what you take him. He is also very slow. The work was ok but nothing to brag about. Here is a picture of my 250SX.

XDAD2, That's too much!! I have an SX also (not near the cond. of yours!!)but luv it just the same. Hell, I'd probably get wood just walking into your garage! An awesome 8) 350X, 8) 250SX and I'm sure the 8) 'Stanger is too! Did you restore the SX yourself or buy it that way? You gonna be at Trikefest '03? (I think it's gonna be BIG) Would like to see them in person.(no wood, promise) Either way, you have a garage to be proud of!!!!!
What's next?

Oh yeah, "WELCOME TO THE BOARD!!"

The 250SX is exactly as I bought it other than a little detailing. Wish I could take credit for it. The 350X is my our job (son and mine) the stanger I did myself. To many toys and not enough time............... Would love to fire up the motorhome and head up to trikefest. Who knows??
