Anyone replace the axle bearings on thier 250R? How hard is it and what specialty tools do I need?
Thanks.

what year?i assume most of them are the same.you can use beat them out with an old 1/2 drive extension.but if they are really froze up i use a dremel to cut the outer bearing race in half, and then pry it apart with a screw driver.then sand out the burrs left in the carrier.
stick your new bearings in the freezer over night.the next day tap them in lightly with a socket the same size as the outer race of the bearing.grease it all up good, and you done.

make sure you put the collar back in the carrier between the bearings.
