The Banshee impeller faces a different direction. However, i may be able ot offer a little hope. I am working with one of the owners of the dealership I frequent. He said he is trying to get Pro-design (hte one who makes the impeller shafts in the first place) to make a baych of billit impellers that will fit a Z.

Don't get your hopes up yet. We have been working on this for a while. Some head way has been made, but not enough to get worked up over. I will be sure to pass on the information once I have something to report.

I just got the pump in today. So far it won't work,But I am PM'ing 03 Orange Shee and TWGranger to see what the hell I am doing wrong. So hold off for a few untill I see if it will work. The biggest problem Is the new impellar is too thick and the cover wont fit. That is only one of the three issues I am having right now.

Seems like hte banshee impellar could be made to fit with a little bit of machine work.

I wondered about cutting it, flipping it and installing it on the existing tri-z shaft with a pin. problem is, would the impellar flow the right way or would it even matter? Probably wouldn't if you didn't have a thermostat.

I don't think you would want to run the impellar bachwards. Then it would have to push fluid up through the rads instead of pulling down.HHHMMMMM I am not sure! 03 Orange Shee PM'd me back and said he is not sure why it won't drop in.He said he is running it now?:wondering :wondering The only way I could see it working would be if I grind the shaft down as well as the plastic drive gear,So the c-clip will line up with the groove.I would also have to have the inside of the pump cover machined out more to accept the thicker impellar???:wondering :wondering I think I am missing something.Everyone else says it just droppes in.:wondering :wondering
