Yah I don't think there is anyone outright who is selling shocks new. Best bet is to get yours rebuilt at a bike shop OR even better would be to have WORKS rebuild/valve your stock shock for your weight and driving style.

I have Progressive shock on there at the moment thats in really bad shape, do you have any idea if they will rebuild that?A new Works is about 600+ bucks so it has to be cheaper to rebuild, even if the shipping is costly from here in NJ to there location, anybody have there shock revalved/rebuilt by Works?

A heart transplant for your 350X shock from works is 180 bucks...And goes up from there....They also have Springs if yours is shot for another 100....
This Rebuild is Equivalent to their Ultra Cross Series Shock and they will Valve it to your Weight and length of Swinger....:naughty:

ok, lets say I send it to them, shipping gonna run say 30 bucks to them(heavy package-estimated) plus 280(revalving and spring, I would replace the spring-doesnt seem the smart thing to use the old 1) and thats not including extras(IE:NEW SHAFT,ETC)-round it off to 350.00 about, you can get the Quadstar WITH RESE new from guys like Precision Powersports.COM for 500.00 with free shipping currently-all new-built like the heart transplant-to your weight, rididng terrian, etc-I may go the route of the new shock instead, whats your thoughts on it?

If it were me I would go the Works route....Before they do ANY work they will give you an Estimate on what its going to take to rebuild....Best Case Scenario your gonna spend 280....Next Case is 400 to use their Casing if yours wont seal and Worst Case is 500 Totally new from whom ever you decide to buy New from....
Im going the Works route myself....I have a Spare Shock...Shipping wont be over 20 Bucks...More like 15...
So in short....
Best Case....You save 220 Bucks
Next Case.....You save 100
Worst Case...500
Sending it to them will cost you shipping and you will know where to go from there:beer

My thoughts exactly-BUT---I purchased a new Works shock(Quadstar with rese)from Precision Powersports.com last night(It's Christmas man!!) so I'm going to send my Progressive shock that was on the 350x when purchased to Works and have the heart transplant done but set it up for a different terrian,(sand dunes,Little Sahara, etc) than my normal terrian, so that way I got 2 shocks to use when I travel around the states on rides, etc.I called them yesterday and they will work on the Porgressive shock, shipping is around 25.00 bucks to them, turnaround about 3 weeks.:naughty:
