I am still not totally sold on the look of the fork guards. I am sure they do keep the bottom of the forks looking better than they would without. My 200x forks could use something since rocks and aluminum don't get along.

id say go with white for the brake guard, but other than that its gorgeous.. looks like it just rolled off the showroom floor..

My friend that did the paint work is working on a headlight shroud to match the tank. Maybe the white brake guards would be would the icing. :beer

Look's nice..... I perfer the OEM look, but it definitely has flash! Was that a crate motor? or did you paint and grind the sides of the head?

I think you'll drown it in white if you change the HL and the front fork guards to white.

Very nice resto. Remeber only ride it on sunny days with low humidity on grass. And god forbid you get it a little dirty. LOL

Believe it or not thats the the original motor. I used a variety of detail brushes to clean it after I put it in the X. I have the rear disc guard and its red also. Haven't decided whether to put it on yet. Thanks for the feedback. And yes my 350x parts buying binge is nearly over. Unless another tach surfaces. :lol: My friend that helped me during finally assembly is skeptical about me actually riding it. :wondering Don't worry its coming to TF 06.

Man.... I might have to bring the Showgirl out to TF again. Wasn't planning on it... Where's the front fender extender and the fender brace? heheehe Footpeg covers... speedo... tach??? hahaha

I have a couple sets of those rear fender extenders... just can't bring myself to drill holes in one of the last set's of rear OEM plastics before they went disc.

1DP - - - You should have went to TF last year... I won (well... I bought off someone that won them.. hehhehe) a set of NOS white front fork covers!

My nos pilot/ody tach will do. Thats what I heard. :lol: I have a set of rear fender extensions also. Actually I have the whole rear assembly fender/seat/extensions. As for the fender brace well.....you got me..ho.ho.ho. Remember I'm new. Maier rear fender and ceet cover are going on for trail riding.

I remamber when you bought those fork gaurds at the awards deal 350x'in! I was standing next you guys when trizracer won them(forget his name, maybe it was tyler?) He won them and you offered him somethin like 70 bucks for them and he was like, well OK. I don't even have a 350x! But anyways nice 350 1DP! Get out there and ride her! Oh and if you don't want to get it muddy better bring somethin else to TF just incase. It always rains when I am there.

Now now now.... my "Showgirl" is very much a rider. It was at Trikefest last year... now my NOS project will NOT be a rider... I'm just going to assemble all the NOS 350X parts I got and bolt it together to stare at upstairs in my house! hahahaha

If you have one in a crate, I can send you a copy of the assembly instructions. Bring it on man! hahahahaa I do need a set of red rear plastics... NOS if possible.

sorry cannot read your message through the boards of my crate please use bigger text, my bookcase of hondaline tachs are in the way of the screen. If you could please turn down the spot light so the glare is shut down off of my 60 nos 85 red rear fenders hanging on the wall as speaker I might be able to hear you better mr hondline, Please get beack to me asap.
