Just got my 250sx yesterday. This morning I put the new tank on, connected the fuel line and had the time of my life. This thing kicks ass, for $600 I really got my moneys worth.

Anyway, I caught some dirt under the snow while donuting and before I knew it I was on my ass! I figure Ill get used to that. Then while I was in the woods I heard a bang like rock on metal. It didnt hit me until I got back to the house and it was leaking oil. Theres a small crack on the oil pan just under the fill cap. Major buzzkill! I guess it could have been worse, so Ill have to drain it and weld it I guess. Anyone try jbweld on that or any other suggestions. Seems like there should be a better skid plate to protect such a vulnerable area.

BTW- Im hooked!

Thanks!

I have patched a case using JB Weld before. It usually holds, however if you can weld it, i would recommend going that route

Welding would be much better if at all possible.

Get a belly pan.. or make one. often available on e-bay for 10 $.. i have 2 spare one's !! lol.... Depending on your choice of front tire, alot of rocks get flung..

Donuts in snow.. keep the rev's up and LEAN.. be safe !

Gotta love the SX. !
