TRX gas cap fit the ATC?

Can you guys tell i'm making out my christmas list today.:lol:

I want to pick up a nice, Billet gas cap for the R, does the TRX cap work?

I don't see why it wouldn't fit. The part #'s are the same for the 86 ATC 250R & the 86 TRX 250R. For the 87-89 TRX's, the part #'s are different, but I don't imagine them not fitting.

I have an 85 ATC250R and a 86 TRX250R at my house. I'll see if they fit tonight. They look the same from what I remember.

I could get this one to screw down tight but I had to use my shock wrench :lol: It fit my Z 400 perfect.:D

So do the TRX caps fit then? All of the ones I see listed are for 450R 250R. I hate to get one and it not work well.

Yes, please. Any quad caps that fit the '85 250r would be nice to know. There is a limited selection out there (like 2 or 3) right now, and they charge through the roof.

FWIW I pulled the cap off of my old 87 TRX250R tank and put it on the IMS oversize 4 gallon ATC tank without any issues?

I thought there were a couple on rockymountain, but I was mistaken. Sorry.:cry:

Yea if you have an IMS tank then the gas caps will interchange. It's the OEM ones that won't work.

I heard the banshees ones may fit, they fit the 85-86 250rs? Is it any year banshee cap that will work?
