View Full Version : 200X kill/headlight switch

Hi, does anyone have a photo of a proper headlight/kill switch for a 1983-85 200X? I can't find one in any of my old mags or brochures. For some reason I have the impression that in '83, it had a red on/off switch and a white headlight on/off switch and in '84 & '85 the switches were red and yellow. Is this correct?

I know it doesn't really matter as long as it works properly, but I'd like to know to satisfy my own curiosity.

Although this portion should be in the eBay section, I've noticed that, amongst many other trike parts, people list these switches improperly. Yeah, it might have BEEN ON an '84 200X, but that doesn't make it an '84 200X switch. Sorry, had to get that out. Grrr.

Snowing like mad again, cold too and dressed for house leisure but yet I trudge out to the storage area for a picture. Glad to help.

Thanks guys! Your efforts are much appreciated. I sometimes forget it's freezing cold and snowing in much of the country.

OK, I was wrong about my color schemes on the switch. Those are the two I most commonly see. One has a bottom switch that is white, the other is red. Oh well, I guess as long as either can/should be on the bike, I'm ok with that.

Nice NOS switch, by the way. How much did that run you?

That is the same switch for the 85 250R.

Nope it not the same as the 85R the harness connections are different......but looks the same.....
it cost me $65 but it was a long time ago.........

I think the white switch is from an 86-87 x.

this is a 86/87x nos switch....does it look like this ?????
