Ok decided to break out the wallet today and go order my parts for the tri-moto's top end rebuild. I figured it deserved it since it is in great shape and I only paid 48 dollars for it this summer. Anyways, take it to the shop and the guy measures the cyl. and it comes up SMALLER than STOCK bore!?!? Measured everything, taper, top size, bottom, all that jazz. So we are just going to order the stock sized piston and bor the cyl. to 56mm. The cyl. is stamped as 125cc also. Whats up with this? THe guy there was kinda cluless. Help a brother out.

I dont think it matters--but the cylinder should be stamped 123cc---are you sure you didnt get 175 parts?-or 175 specs?

I just looked again----no you didnt get anything wrong--There is no logical combination of screw-ups that would account for that!!!!
Thats wild!!!
Could be a 125 cylinder from an earlie YZ or IT on it possibly....or a Debored Racer...not likely tho haha.

The Trike 125s should be stamped 123cc-----he possibly has a 125 cylinder from a sled or other vehicle --possibly a dirtbike?
