finally had a chance to look at a 1985 atc 110 i bought for my oldest son, took the top end off, valves looked pretty good, the jug had a significant lip on one side only. turns out the piston was stiff and hard to move. I cannot get the wrist pin out. Any suggestions? it is just plain stuck, i just rebuilt a 1979 atc 110 for my second oldest son a few weekends back and this project was for my oldest son. I have a bottom end for a 1980 atc 110 parts bike, Do i just need to replace the crank, and will the 1980 model crank (points) fit the 1985 model (cd)i?

Take a deep socket the same size as the pin.. hold the piston in your hand so that you don't side load the conecting rod and tap the socket with a rubber mallet .. if that fails. use a regular hammer... if that fails... uhm.... daym.. resort to penetrating oil and heat.

Make sure you removed the circlips !!!!! VERY IMPORTANT !! lol...

You can also get creative with a big C clamp and that deep socket to press it out !
