I borrowed these from my neighbor's kid today to scan for everyone. These are pretty neat since they were all from one race in which my neighbor came in 4th. They were taken in June of 1985 at the Broome/Tioga Sprots Center in NY. His class was 250 expert. Enjoy, oh and see if you can find the TIGER!!!!
I tried to put all the pics together in groups like jumping, tecates, and so on for you guys. Oh and my neighbor's nephew has even more that he is supposed to bring on the bus tomorrow :w00t:. I gotta say there are some AWESOME tecates in here and in the one pic thats all there is
One of the smaller pics has an arrow pointing to my neighbor and in all the other ones he is the only one wearing blue jeans and a number 2 number plate.

I think you dont go back as far with the grab bar down.

Also easier to pickup and load in a truck with it down, you get more lift out of it. Not much of a concern with it stock if your kind of tall but us shorter guys need all the help we can get

That page with all the Tecates makes me want to be there so badly, they look so friggin nutz flying around the track like that. Favourite is the jump with one T3 in the air and two more T3's in front, wild! Thanks for the pics!

Looks more liek rider skill or lack there of, his front end tells the tale.
Orangecounty, notice the small tank on most of the T3's pictured? Its a small aluminum gas tank made by Cal-Fab used on the shortcourse T3's to gain more steering lock, therefore decreaseing the turning radius. Thought I'd fill ya in as its a cool part of the Tecate history.

Yeah, that's the real reason. A lot of guys taped crossbar pads onto them too just in case they hit their tailbone on it.

They have been making CB honda's since the early 70's CBR's in late 87 as stated, a 350x front and rear end will bolt up to a CB 750 so im told.

All i see is a whole bunch of cool racing trikes and most of them have the Vented # Plate we all want. Just imagine if some one sent one to Aussiedunner to reproduce. TrikeFest Motocross would never look so good.:w00t:
Yes im still pestering people for a plate to be Reproduced. Shame on all here with a Vented Plate that wont let Aussie use for a few weeks.:banned:
Thanks for posting the pics.I have enjoyed looking at them.If i had them i would mount them in a frame, and put them on display.

Thank you Billy. Aussie had too many strokers looking for plastic and when the time came to buy no one owned up to it so he lost money. I'm not sending mine, it looks too good on my trike, sorry Meat. Plus I'm sick of being pestered.

Figures all the good stuff gets ruined.
Ok I went to Aussie's thing and looked at his posts. I Never saw a post for Plates nor any pictures. Untill just then. He told me they were universal Plates and I swore they were just a normal plate. I did ask about one for my Tecate I remember but the Fork width was wider than honda. Im getting a Honda 200x tomorrow so I want one for that.
Why didnt anyone let me know and show me pics. Ive been up on my soap box for months begging for a doner plate for him.
Anyway I want one or two so can anyone help me out? Or Did I miss out and Im screwed.

I was told that they were upside down to prevent a rider from getting hurt by the grab bar in a wreck. I am not sure of that but it seems logical

His first one's title was like "Anyone interested in reproduction plastic parts?". I got a hold of him around the time he made the post you speak of and got my plate yesterday. Looks Really good too.

The pic of the hick looking guy is named John Baker .I remember that guy! I used to love to watch him ride. He was into all kinds of sports though, not just 3-wheelers. He used to hanglide, skydive, jetski, jog. In one episode, he even competed in the Baja 500 in his blue Chevy stepside pickup! You probably remember his riding partner better though, Frank Poncherello. :D
Is that Danny Noonan on the 200x in the last picture?:lol:You don't mean Danny Noonan of Bushwood Country Club fame do you?
